One of the most beautiful gifts on this earth: the relics of the martyrs. This relic of St. Maurice and his companions’ martyrs was donated to Immaculate Conception Church in Baqaqa, Maikona Parish, by L’Abbe de Saint-Maurice, Mgr. Jean Scarcella. The church was sponsored by Saint Mary’s Foundation, Dr. Nabil El Sayad. The relics of the African Martyrs from Egypt are brought back to their African land, after 1725 years, to bless it and to become the seed of faith for many Africans. They were killed in Europe by Maximian, a general of army of Diocletian at the end of third century. Their strong faith, stronger than their life, should make us Faithfull Christians.
